The Hunger Games Synopsis
In the post apocalyptic continent of North America lies Panem - the shining Capitol of a nation surrounded and supported by the twelve districts. In a later time, these districts waged war on the Capitol where in the power of the twelve combined districts lost. As a token for the twelve district's surrender, each district agreed to send one male and female to appear in an annual event called 'The Hunger Games'. As the name suggests, 'The Hunger Games' is a televised survival and fighting event which could only have one victor. The sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen, who lives in district twelve together with her mother and younger sister, regards the event as a death sentence. She became the representative of her district in the once in a year death match. There are various twists and turns along the way as Katniss makes her way through it all.
